We help Supply Chain Professionals succeed in negotiations.
Established in 2001, ProPurchaser has grown to become a trusted resource for thousands of Procurement Professionals. We track prices for hundreds of commodities and other cost drivers that affect suppliers’ production costs; and send out alerts as changes occur. When suppliers’ costs fall, our members use this information to negotiate lower prices; when suppliers’ costs rise, they use it to fend off unsupportable increases. ProPurchaser contains data, tools and resources that allow our members to speak with authority, improve their position, and achieve their negotiations goals.
Our members include some of the world’s best run companies
What do our Members have to say about ProPurchaser?
I would recommend it to any colleague and buyers as a strong tool for market intelligence and analysis.
Dean Loria, Advisor, Supply Chain Management, Shell Oil
ProPurchaser makes us smarter.
Nick Papson, Director, Global Strategic Sourcing, Black & Decker
We used to have suppliers dispute our numbers. That’s gone. Now we’re armed with indisputable knowledge and that’s very powerful. Just this week, we went to a cold-rolled steel provider with information that the price was down. They called us back in 15 minutes with a rollback
Jake Rogers, Materials Manager, Snap-on Tools
With one steel racking purchase alone, our investment in ProPurchaser paid off big-time.
Stan Hankowski, Fixtures Buyer, Home Depot
My corrugated supplier actually apologized for asking for the increase, saying it was a ‘mistake’, after we showed him the ProPurchaser data.
Normand Pelland, Purchasing Agent, Visa Desjardins
It only takes one deal to pay for it many times over and it frees up valuable time by automatically informing purchasers of changing market conditions.
Bruce McCubbin, President, Moosehead Breweries
We saved over $3 million dollars the first year we used ProPurchaser.
Dave Bengert, Purchasing Director, Jayman Construction
Does it keep suppliers honest? You bet it does
Don Heatherington, General Manager/Purchasing, Mr. Lube
I definitely have held off price increases as a result of information from ProPurchaser.
Dave Aumond, Purchasing Manager, Mega Bloks
I always felt vulnerable in the face of our costs going up. ProPurchaser has removed that fear.
Carol Wyatt, Vice-President Purchasing, HSBC Canada
